Educational Background:

I earned my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Blinn College in Brenham, Texas; undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Language Arts and graduate Master's Degree in Counseling with a concentration in LPC from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.

Educator Experience:

I interned a Becker Elementary, Del Valle Elementary, and Casey Elementary Schools in the Austin, Texas area. I completed my student teaching at Casey Elementary School. I taught Second Grade and Fourth Grade as well as Team Lead at Casey Elementary School and Fourth Grade as well as Team Lead Perez Elementary School. I have successfully taught seven years in Austin ISD. 

I taught four years in Elgin ISD at Neidig Elementary Schools in Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, Second Grade, and First Grade successfully along with sponsoring Elementary and Middle School Book Clubs during the school as well as during the summer.

I taught in Schulenburg ISD in Fifth Grade Science and Social Studies and Fourth Grade successfully too.

I have returned to Austin ISD teaching last year in SBS and this new school year teaching Fourth Grade.

Hello Parents and Student Scholars!

I am Miss Browning, a mother of three sons of Promise and a Big Momma to my two wonderful Blessed grandchildren! I have been working with children for approximately twenty years. I have been in the classroom for thirteen plus years certified. I knew as young as Second Grade that I was called to be an Educator!

I received my undergraduate degree from St. Edward's University in Language Arts along with my Master's Degree in Counseling. I have recently earned my certifications for EC-12 ESL and Special Education. I am a published poet and most of all I Love Children and Believe in Every Child as well as their First Educators, which are my Number 1 Superstars...You-Parents!!!

We will have a Fantastic school year in the lives of Our Children and Our Scholars!!! I am very Fortunate to be a part of the Mary Jane Sims Family and Your Scholar's Academic Career!!!
