I received a BS in business and home economics from Texas State University.  I obtained my teaching certification from Educators of Excellence and am certified to teach EC through 8th grade.

I am certified to teach EC through 8th grade.  I have taught at Pearce Middle School and this is my first year at Sims and I am glad to be working with the students and the staff at Sims.

Hello! This is my first year as a second grade teacher and my first year at Sims. Previously, I taught 6th grade English Language Arts at Pearce Middle School.  I have two children, a 17 year old daughter and a 13 year old son, and have lived in Austin pretty much all my life.  I enjoy teaching and love working at Sims.  Every teacher, no matter what grade they teach, has taught me something wonderful about this profession.  I am delighted to be working with your students and the wonderful staff at Sims Elementary.
